...accuses IBM of hiding... To accuse means to claim someone does something wrong or illegal.
...caused its market value to plunge - To plunge means to fall or drop suddenly.
IBM lobbied Congress hard to pass a law... To lobby is to attempt to influence government officials toward a desired action, cause, or project.
